Osteopathy – Ben Perissinotto
BSc(Hons) Osteopathy, Practice Principal
Ben Perissinotto graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2002. He started his career at a busy clinic in Wellington, New Zealand, and has since continued to gain clinical experience in practices in London and Sussex.
Ben treats patients with wide-ranging conditions, from sports injuries and traumas to degenerative conditions such as arthritis. He also has a particular interest in rehabilitation after an injury and has focused much of his post-graduate study in this area.

Osteopathy – Shelley Machin
Shelley graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2011 and gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Women’s Health Osteopathy in 2015.
Shelley has gained clinical experience at practices in Selsdon, Tonbridge, South Darenth and here at The Shirley Practice.
In addition to a particular interest in women’s health issues including ante-natal and post-partum care, Shelley enjoys treating a wide variety of patients and conditions.

Massage Therapist – Paola Napolitano BSc.
I am fully qualified in ITEC Level 3 Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Deep Tissue and On-Chair Massage, and fully qualified in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma from NLSSM.
I have worked in spas and offices as part of their internal wellbeing programmes. I have treated patients presenting musculoskeletal pain and various minor conditions while working in clinical settings in London.
My approach to massage is comprehensive and intuitive, based on several years of working professionally as a performing dance artist.
In 2018 I graduated from the LIMS® of New York as Certified Movement Analyst (CMA), referring to the Laban/Bartenieff System as somatic tool to recognise and synthesize movement patterns.
Cognitive behaviour therapy and counselling – Denise Christy

Over the past 10 years, I have worked both privately and as a psychotherapist for the National Health Service (NHS). I also operated as a Clinical Lead at a South London Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service, both practising CBT and Counselling and also supervising CBT Psychotherapists and Counsellors. (IAPT is a programme within the NHS which offers interventions to people who suffer from depression and anxiety disorders across England).
I have also run a number of successful groups, including a group for people with Social Anxiety and a group for mothers with Postnatal Depression. I have published research and presented Workshops for both the British Association of Behaviour and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Association of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT) on working with Postnatal Depression.
